Please join us in welcoming Japanese artist NAOSHI who will be showcasing her new artwork.NAOSHI creates her artwork out of shiny colored sand. A technique called “Sunae” in japanese.
Her whimsical and surreal pop imagery, delicate and dynamic, often depicts humans combined with fruit and vegetables in realistic and unrealistic natural environments.APAK is Aaron and Ayumi Piland . They are a child-like husband and wife collaborative art team who live among the fury conifer giants in a little cottage on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. Since 2005 they have created artwork together as a way of exploring the beauty, mystery, and magic of life as well as expressing their love for life and each other. They are known in particular for creating rich and colorful gouache/acrylic paintings on wood featuring the utopian lives and adventures of curious little beings living in lush fantastic environments surrounded by friendly little animals. It is their goal to bring something fresh, beautiful, and meaningful into the world in hopes of inspiring the next generation to live simply, peacefully, and in harmony with nature and each other.MINIFANFAN is a malaysian chinese artist currently residing in Kuala Lumpur. Her work often depicts human animal hybrids or anthropomorphized animals interacting with people. Her sweet images conjure a pure and ideal relationship between the two. Minifanfan often works in old school traditional techniques and enjoys things “handmade”.Leana Rudish is an LA based artist that currently works in fabric. She creates wonderful quilted images from vintage and contemporary pieces of fabric creating a cute and textured vision. Often her subjects are animals and humanistic characters like dwarves and gnomes and they populate her world in peace and harmony.Jasmin Lai is a taiwanese artist based in the San Francisco bay area primarily working in digital mediums. Her subjects often include natural landscapes and/or the people that populate them to create stylized architectural pieces that also have a great deal of warmth and charm.Michelle Park is a Korean LA based artist who also works in digital. Her illustrative pieces involve strong references to nature and also to architectural interiors marrying the two into a stylized unity.

Artist NAOSHI wil be in attendance from Japan.
Artists Leana Rudish and Michelle Park will also be in attendance.

Reception is on March 9 7PM-10PM
